Update history

A licence to use Expedition may be purchased or a demonstration licence valid for up to 30 days may be obtained.

Important notes:

In some cases, the vcredist_x86_2005.exe may need to be run manually for Expedition to run.

Proudman users will require a new licence key from v7.2.3.

Saildocs now requires the user to select an area of the chart, rather than defaulting to the screen area.

Versions later than 7.2 may not work on Windows 2000 as this is no longer supported by Microsoft.

For new installs or upgrades, download the Expedition install zip file. Extract the files in the zip archive to a folder, making sure the folder you extract the files to is not encrypted. Then run setup.exe to install Expedition.

Licences obtained before 1 January 2008 require an upgrade licence to be purchased ($US250), either from Expedition or your dealer.

ExpeditionLT is provided free of charge and, as such, is unsupported.
